Core Flood
Sam leads Scaled Solutions’ Core Flood Team at their Flagship Laboratory in Livingston, just outside Edinburgh, and is also the company’s Lead Geologist. She specialises in formation damage diagnosis, core analysis and chemical testing for the oil, gas and energy industry, utilising core flooding coupled with SEM/EDX and Micro-CT imaging for formation damage assessment.
Sam has over a decade’s worth of experience in solving clients’ formation damage problems, testing chemical treatments, and designing core flood studies to solve complex production or injection challenges. Her special areas of interest are drilling fluids, completion fluids and breakers, EOR, water injection and CCUS.
