Rylan Dsouza

Rylan DSouza is Global Technical Advisor for Completions and Well Integrity at Interwell, with almost two decades of experience spanning well engineering, product R&D, business development, and technology deployment across the Middle East and global markets. He began his oil and gas career as a Senior Wellhead Engineer at Cameron International, before serving as Wellhead and Well Integrity Supervisor at Bapco Upstream (Occidental Petroleum) in Bahrain.

He joined Petroleum Technology Company (now an Interwell company) in 2013, progressing through regional sales and technical leadership roles in MENA, where he led the development and deployment of technologies including electric gas lift systems, interventionless completions, intelligent barrier valves, and autonomous annulus management systems. Rylan is a named inventor on oil and gas patents and an SPE author and presenter. He holds an MBA with Distinction in Oil & Gas and Energy Management from Robert Gordon University and an Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication..

At EWPF Stavanger 2026, Rylan will present on Interwell's Adaptive Gas Lift System — a technology that rethinks gas lift through electrification to improve production efficiency, reduce intervention frequency, and extend well life.
