Qin Li is a Principal Researcher in Production Technology in Equinor. His main research interest is analytical modelling and optimisation. He had been involved in R&D projects about gas-lift optimization, smart well testing and rate allocation, sand monitoring etc. His recent focus has been on well monitoring using distributed fiber-optic sensing.
Qin Li holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering. He started working in Equinor in 2012and his first project was on automatic control in managed pressure drilling. He is a member of the SPE.
