Niall is a specialist in production technology at Equinor, with extensive experience across major international field developments. His career includes key technical roles on the Rosebank project in the UK sector, as well as significant contributions to deepwater field development in Brazil and complex reservoir projects in Russia.
Within Equinor, Niall has also served as Leading Advisor for Well Productivity and Stimulation, guiding strategies to enhance well performance, manage formation damage, and optimize production across diverse reservoir environments.
He holds a PhD from Imperial College London, where he specialized in geochemistry and subsurface processes—expertise that continues to underpin his work on production challenges, stimulation design, and reservoir‑wellbore interaction.
