Jules has 35+ years’ experience in core analysis, with a wide knowledge across routine and special core analysis processes and both static and dynamic reservoir properties. He is a co author of two books: Advanced Core Measurements “Best Practices” for Low Reservoir Quality Chalk (2014), part of the Joint Chalk Research Phase VII project, and Core Analysis: A Best Practice Guide (2015), V64 in Elsevier’s Development in Petroleum Science series. In 2014, he was the SME for the National Grid Carbon core project (well 42/25d-3).
Jules has authored and/or co-authored approximately 15 other published papers and delivered several conference workshops and short courses on a variety of topics, including wettability, capillary pressure and dynamic processes, such as: relative permeability, enhanced recovery systems and carbon capture, utilisation and storage.
He is former president of the Society of Core Analysts (SCA), a current memberof its Technical Committee and a peer reviewer for a number of scientificjournals (SPERE, JPSE, Petrophysics, TiPM).
