Anastasia Bird is a Technical Specialist in bp’s Central Wells team with16 years of wells engineering experience across service companies, independent operators and energy majors.
She specialises in performance management, production enhancement and completions optimisation, with a focus on multistage horizontal wells.
In her global central role, Anastasia works with regions worldwide, giving her strong insight into the challenges facing the North Sea and wider UKCS and where performance and innovation can make a difference. She holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Gubkin University and an MSc (Hons) in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
