Olav Martin Selle is a Specialist in Production Technology for Equinor, Subsurface, Competence Centre International, Production Technology based in Stjørdal, Norway. His specialty is well chemistry and is giving specialist support within scale management, chemical sand consolidation, chemical water/gas shut-off, well damage/stimulation.
He has worked for 42 years in the industry, 29 years with Equinor and 13 years with SINTEF Petroleum Research.
At Equinor he started at their Research Centre with formation damage and “green” chemistry before he came to Operations and was responsible for well chemistry at Heidrun and Norne. Later he became responsible for qualifying chemical EOR projects for Heidrun. He is now giving specialist support within well chemistry to several fields within the company including the start-up of Njord Fields.
