I am 42 years old, married and father of two. I grew up on small island of the south coast of Norway, but I have lived my grown up life in the oil capital of Norway, beautiful Stavanger. After a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a MSc in Industrial Economics, both with the University of Stavanger, I started as trainee engineer for Halliburton Norway in 2005. After a few years working with sand control and stimulation services, on- and offshore, I joined Equinor in 2009 where I have held various position in Norway and in USA within operations, technology, business development and then leadership positions. I am now heading what we call Discipline Engineering within Drilling & Well which is home to chief engineers, subject matter experts and technical engineering recourses supporting Equinor globally within drilling, completions and interventions.
